Perseverance Is More Than Endurance

Hi Guys,

Happy Sunday.

It’s been a wild week here in Reno. Snow, delays, packages stuck in UPS trailers since Monday.

Frustrating? Sure. But small.

Very small compared to the nine lives lost in the same storm just north of Donner Pass.

That puts things in perspective.

This morning I read one of my favorite devotions from My Utmost for His Highest, and it hit me hard.

Oswald Chambers opens February 22 with this:

“Perseverance is more than endurance. It is endurance combined with the absolute assurance and certainty that what we are looking for is going to happen. Perseverance means more than just hanging on…”

That line always cuts deep. Because sometimes we’re not persevering. We’re just hanging on.

Chambers goes on to say we must work deliberately, not simply cling and hope.

That’s the lever I pull when I can’t see the next step.

  • I keep working.
  • And I keep believing.

Like climbing a mountain in dense fog - you can’t see the summit. You can only take the next step. Left foot. Right foot. Deliberately.

I’ve shared the full message below. Take a minute and read it.

Better yet, send it to someone who needs it.

I know this email isn’t about selling meals.

And I know that’s not the “best practice” in modern direct-to-consumer marketing.

We’re supposed to blanket you with funnels and flows and urgency and offers.

But that’s not my style.

Our mission is to Feed Humanity With Quality and Excellence.

Sometimes that’s protein-packed meals at your doorstep.

And sometimes it’s a reminder to endure, and persevere, in your own life.

I hope you’re here for both.

Stay the course and work deliberately. I’m in it with you.

As always, "Keep It Paleo!"

Your Pal,

Paleo Nick
