We've been thinking about Burritos

We've been thinking about Burritos

Hello Everyone,

We’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately about Ice Age, what we do well, and what could come next.

Funny enough, one idea keeps coming back around.

Burritos.

We’ve actually been making them in one form or another for years - going back to Paleo Nick Food Booth days - and at different points we even developed frozen burrito concepts that never made it to market.

Here's a photo from our burrito line in Miami at Wodapalooza in 2018. Paleo Gordy leading the charge!

In 2019, we almost launched the Burrr-ito, but the tortilla tripped us up and we shelved the idea.

In 2021, we had the BRO-RITO idea we were going to run with, but again, other things came up and we did not proceed.

In my own fitness and nutrition journey, I’ve found burritos to be incredibly useful. They make it easy to combine protein, carbs and fat into something convenient, portable and satisfying.

And that’s the part I keep coming back to.

What if we could make a frozen burrito with 50g of protein that actually tastes great?

So, here's what we are thinking:

  • 50 grams of protein
  • Real meat
  • Great salsa
  • Simple ingredients

Something you can keep in the freezer, heat up in minutes, and always look forward to eating.

But before we go much further, we want your opinion.

Would you buy something like this?

How important is it to you that Ice Age remain gluten-free?

What matters most - taste, protein, ingredients, price, convenience?

And what are we not thinking about?

We put together a really short page where you can tell us what you think.

It’ll take about 30 seconds, and your answers will genuinely help us decide where we go from here.

Thanks for being part of this with us.

Your Pal Always,

Paleo Nick

P.S. I get my first box of burritos today and I'll let you know what I think!
